After 3 months of mentorship, workshops, acceleration and sleepless nights, 11 outstanding teams from 9 different countries, originally selected from more than 400 startups, were ready to present their pitches in front of a room full of investors, entrepreneurs and community members.

All kinds of puzzling questions, from how to avoid missing your bus with a help of an app to how to bring affordable transport to Africa, were raised and answered during Startupbootcamp Berlin Demo Day that this year has pivoted to focus on Smart Transportation and Energy.

Teams had 7 minutes to share their ideas and convince the panel why their business would succeed. The atmosphere was very dynamic: great organization, excited audience, and truly fascinating presentations by all teams.

After the official part was over, the teams had a unique opportunity to privately chat with potential investors during quite an informal banquet and further explain the potential of their projects.

The eventful day was wrapped up with a cozy after party at Le Labo, where the pitches gave way to more relaxing talks and drinking.  

As for now, we are looking forward to Startupbootcamp 2015, as well as new brilliant teams and remarkable ideas that it will bring along with it!
