On November 13th, Climate-KIC, Europe's biggest cleantech accelerator, invites you to an evening of inspiring talks, pitches and networking.
Program
6:30pm - Key-note by Salim Virani: “Why do customers lie?”
Salim is a partner at Founder Centric in London, which designs practical education programs for organizations that invest in startup ecosystems, like Seedcamp, UCL and Oxford University. He founded 5 startups, and 2 international startup communities – Leancamp & Village Accelerator. He brought Lean Startup to Europe in 2010 and is responsible for connecting Lean Startup to UX and business model design.
7:00pm - Networking with Elevator Pitches
You will have the opportunity to get to know the current Climate-KIC CleanTech start-ups. Our start-ups will seek you out, serve fresh drinks and pitch their business model in 60 seconds. After the pitches you price the teams. Therefore you will get 10.000 € play money at the registration which you can distribute to your personal favorite teams.
9:00pm - Award Ceremony
During the event, drinks and food will be provided in a pleasantly informal atmosphere.
Several members of the Berlin start-up scene are invited, as well as our most successful alumni start-ups (e.g. Thermondo, Efficient City Farmsystems). This is a great opportunity for networking!
About the organisers
Climate-KIC operates the first European accelerator programme for climate start-ups, founded in 2010. It has so far helped 45 European cleantech start-ups to collectively raise €59 million in external investment. The Green Garage, based in Berlin at the EUREF-Campus, is a high-profile incubator within the Climate-KIC network. German cooperation partners are the Centre for Entrepreneurship at TU Berlin and the UnternehmerTUM based in Munich.
