A fully immersive, hands-on CSM workshop.

This two-day workshop is structured around the Scrum values, principles and practices, using a blend of lecture, interactive exercises, and participant dialog. This workshop is not formulaic but emergent. There are no powerpoint slides, and no handouts; the focus is on learning through action, through activity, and through deep conversation.

The purpose in such an approach is to help embed the learning in the student. When we learn only with our heads, we find that much is forgotten. And even when remembered it is usually in the form of a recipe, or a formula—something repeatable. On the other hand, learning through action, ideally involving the whole body, allows new ideas to take root, and to grow in an organic way. The learning is literally embodied.

One of the core values of Scrum is courage. To exhibit courage means to step outside of one’s comfort zone. If the idea of an interactive CSM workshop causes you to balk, or to shy away, it is likely this is exactly the CSM workshop you need to take. Scrum is not to be learned, it is to be lived.
